Airport Grid

The Airport Grid is the main screen. It lists your saved airports as squares, in two sections:

Square colors (flight category)

The square's background shows the flight category reported with the latest METAR:

VFR — ceiling at or above 3,000 ft and visibility at or above 5 SM
MVFR — ceiling 1,000–3,000 ft or visibility 3–5 SM
IFR — ceiling 500–1,000 ft or visibility 1–3 SM
LIFR — ceiling below 500 ft or visibility below 1 SM
Gray — no data, or the report is missing what's needed to set a category

Sorting and grouping

Tap the sort icon next to a section title to choose:

Each section keeps its own sort setting.

Selecting several airports

  1. Tap ⋯ → Select Airports. The title changes to “Select Airports”.
  2. Tap squares to select them. A checkmark appears.
  3. Use the bar at the top to delete the selection, add it to or remove it from My Trip, or mark favorites.
  4. Tap Done.

Text size

Tap ⋯ and use the Text Size stepper to make the grid text larger or smaller.

Low Data Mode

With Low Data Mode on (in Settings), the grid says “Low data mode is on. Tap airport to download weather.” Weather downloads only for My Trip airports and airports you tap.
