Importing a schedule
If you fly a line schedule, SimpleAvWx can fill My Trip with the airports in your current sequence.
Import a file
- In your scheduling app, export or share your schedule as a CSV file and choose SimpleAvWx. Or save the file first, then in SimpleAvWx tap ⋯ → Import Schedule (also in Settings).
- SimpleAvWx reads the sequences and adds the departure, arrival, and layover airports to My Trip.
What the file needs
A CSV with a header row. SimpleAvWx looks for these columns (names aren't case-sensitive):
| Needed | Column names it recognizes |
|---|---|
| Sequence | Sequence Number, Sequence |
| Start date | Start Date Local, Start Date, Report Date |
| End date | End Date Local, End Date, Release Date |
| Departure | Departure Station, Departure, Dep Station |
| Arrival | Arrival Station, Arrival, Arr Station |
| Optional | Layover Airport / Layover / Layover Station; Flight Number / Flight; Activity / Activity Type |
Three-letter station codes (like CLT) are matched to ICAO codes (like KCLT).
[[TODO: confirm which scheduling apps' CSV exports are known to work, and whether to name them]]Switching sequences
My Trip shows one sequence at a time. Tap the My Trip title to choose Previous Sequence, Next Sequence, Current Trip, or any sequence in the list, grouped by month. The current sequence takes over the day after a trip ends.
Removing a schedule
In Settings, tap Remove Schedule. Airports that were added for the schedule are removed from My Trip. Airports you'd already saved stay in My Airports.
Your schedule file is kept on your iPhone. Only the airport codes are sent to look up airports and weather. See Privacy.
